HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROMs WITHOUT PC(LENOVO A6000)

           This tutorial is only for Lenovo a6k & a6k+ 4.4.4 kitkat version(not Lolipop)

Here i am so u install CM 11(bug free).That rom is so awesome and smooth.  

                                                Recovery is a bootable partition of Android operating system and where lot of repairing tools available. We can compare recovery with BIOS in computer.ClockworkMod recovery is an alternative recovery for stock Android. It can give lot of options rather than stock Android recovery. 

Installation of CWM (ClockworkMod) recovery using other tools (e.g) ADB and Fast Boot tool) seems difficulty for new kids in Android arena. CWM allows backup and restore of stock ROM. Using CWM user can update/replace stock Android and install other custom ROM like Cyanogenmod.


After so many months of using Custom ROMS for Lenovo A6000 we have got a stable custom rom for our device. Lenovo A6000 CM 11 Custom ROM comes without any bugs and is super smooth and fast where the RAM on first boot is above 500 MB. We’re glad to say that this cyanogenmod 11 for Lenovo A6000 is the best so far which also has the WiFi hotspot working along with the Networks/Data coverage better than the previous CM 11 custom roms for the device

PRE-REQUISITES :

1. CWM Recovery download it here
2. Lenovo A6000 CM 11 Custom ROM– Download it from here or here
3. Google Services (Gapps) – Download it from here
4. Backup all your PERSONAL DATA and CONTACTS
5.Flashify app

Flashify is a user friendly application to assist in various recovery tools like CWM and TWRP. No need to apply various buttons and commands to install CWM recovery.

1. Root your phone using tools like King Root. You can't use  Flashify without rooting your device.King Root can unlock most of the phone. If King Root can't root your phone, find other methods. Make a search in Google and find alternative tools to root your phone.

2. Install Flashify from Google Play

3. Find and Download recovery image suitable with your phone. Make a search in Google to find apt recovery.img file for your Android phone. Save recovery.img file in your memory card of mobile.

4. Open Flashify application > Find Recovery Image

5. Find and Choose recovery.img from memory card.

6. Proceed with instructions. In the final, Flashify allow to reboot into recovery mode.

HOW TO INSTALL ? 

Step 1 : Copy both the files to your SD card.(ROM file and Gapps file) 

Step 2 : Boot into Recovery (power button+vol.up+vol.down) 

Step 3 : Please take an entire backup of your current rom through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the Custom ROM 

Step 4 : Enter recovery Step 5 : Make full wipe including “system” 

Step 6 : Flash the rom 

Step 7 : Flash the gapps 

Step 8 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

Click on IP Address & It will open a new window from here, Now Click on “Grab” Button, After that Click on “Kill” Button

That’s all you are done, now your friends will not able to use WiFi connection, They will still connect to WiFi but they will get speed like 0 Kbps & Can’t able to browse or download anything.

For Revert Back -

1.Untick on “Grab All” Button, After that Click on “Kill” Button 

2.Then Go-to Main Screen Of app & Click on “❚❚” Symbol Normally 

3.Now Your friends , Neighbors can use WiFi Normally as before they was using this.

Yet another custom rom with the latest Android Operating System Marshmallow for Lenovo A6000 and Plus users. It
is unnoffcial but it comprises the latest updates of Marshmallow and CM 13. The custom rom is still under beta phase testing and there might be lots of bugs and instability. We would advice you to flash this custom rom if you’re not using as the primary device. You
can test the features of Marshmallow on your Lenovo A6000 but there might be errors or performance issues. The Lenovo A6000 CM 13 Marshmallow ROM is only 400 MB and it needs to be installed on a Lollipop based rom already with the TWRP custom recovery.

How to Install

Step 1 : Copy the CM 13 Marshmallow ROM and GApps in your SD card

Step 2 : Boot into Recovery

Switch off your device
Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery (read the guide here)
Step 3 : Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)

Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up

Step 5 : Flash the ROM

Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)
